Went to my appointment this morning, God, I'm tired. Met with the Doc and I'm gonna go into on the 27th for them to look down my throat and into my stomach for issues. Sometime before that, the radiological folks will use their floroscope and I'll drink the nasty liquid and do some other tests.

1. Get in shape! Last year I went from 325 pounds to 237 lbs. I call that pretty good. At 6'3" I think 225 or so would be a good weight to go to. However I have quite a belly of fat to go through and more muscle and tone would be nice.

2. Cut out the majority of my cola intake. I need to drink water more often.

3. Eat healthier foods. I am currently on weekly feasts of blueberries, rasberries, honeydew melon, strawberries, pineapples, and watermelons. Maybe some veggies to mix it up.

4. Stress management or a new job. I am burning out fast in the call center.

5. Go to Rain at least once. Haven't been there since.. ever. Maybe also go to art events and other places.

6. Pass my CWNA, CWNP, continue reading for CISSP.

7. Be cleaner at my apartment. I need to fit the stereotype and be cleaner. Maybe get a hamper for dirty clothes rather than usign my floor. =)

8. Build a new computer. My current one was last built in 2001 and was a very nice system. However its at 1 Athlon 2100+ (1.7Ghz) and the mobo was a cheapie I threw on after my kick-ass Asus board fried with a blown up capacitor.

9. Buy more clothes. When I was 300's and upper 200's I wore black and cynical shirts and avoided most forms of fashion. Express for Men, Aber&Fitch, American Apperal, etc has helped change that with my current weight and loss of fat. Getting toned and more slender will offer me gettign better looking clothes. Afterall, i am down to a XL from a XXL-XXXL. I can even manage to get in a large, but its rather tight. I wouldn't mind if I had a nice chest and stronger arms. ^_^

One confession:
I may look angry and sometimes I am, however I am usually really silly and just making fun of the outside world by pretending to be angry. ^_^

I hate people that tell me crap.

Here I am, enjoying another bad day in tech support when I get call, hell I lost count.

This guy says he can't get on and needs an IP address. Fine. Connect to the modem, modem is online and connected to this guys wireless router. I tell him its connected to the router, so the router is the first place to start with. He says it can't be his router and its the modem. I ask him what his notebooks IP's are.

If the router was fucntioning, he'd be gettign a 192.168 IP address. The guy says he is a network adming, oh boy, a paper mcse kiddo. So I ask him again what the IP address he is getting, as he last said he was not getting an IP. Here is how it breaks down... If the modem was the fault and not the router, the systems would be still getting the 192 address from the router. Its not, does anyone care to guess why? Ding Ding, it the bloody router that's at fault. Reboot it.

They reboot the router, ding we have a winner! Think before you call. If you're systems are getting a 192 address from the router and unable to connect, call your isp. If you don't get an IP address from the router, its the router that is messing up.

Its simple logic folks.

If you retrieve your e-mail from a computer other than your own, it will be removed from the server and loaded on to the computer you are using. To keep the mail on the server so that you can retrieve it again from your home machine, select the Leave Mail on Server option within your particular e-mail client. However, keep in mind that messages "expire" or are deleted from the server after 60 days.
